Company Profile:  Goodman Networks (at the time I worked there, prior to the divestiture and subsequent bankruptcy) produced over $1B in annual revenues in the following markets: Wireless Telecommunications Services (Goodman was an AT&T Turf Vendor in the Georgia, North Texas, South Texas, Arkansas/Oklahoma, Illinois/Wisconsin, Washington/Oregon, and Central Michigan and Indiana markets), Wireline Telecommunications Services (customers AT&T, CenturyLink, and Windstream), DAS Telecommunication Services (design and construction of Distributed Antenna Systems in Airports, Stadiums, and large facilities), and was the largest DirecTV installation contractor.  In July of 2016, Goodman divested the AT&T Turf business by selling it to Ansco a subsidiary of Dycom.

    • Led Strategic &Tactical Procurement for all direct materials and indirect expenses

    • Spends exceeding $300MM annually

  • S&OP (implemented processes)

Accomplishments (selected notable):

  • Completely redesigned supply chain planning processes

  • Reduced inventories 76% and quintupled turns.

  • Consistently achieved 98%+ site material availability

  • Reduced staff 65%, with increased scope and improved morale   

  • Improved material margins through sourcing savings and price management. Implemented supplier measurements

  • Improved Diverse Supplier target spend results by 300%
